Internship Program

We offer 3, 6, & 12 month internships for individuals and families. If the intern has a family, then all members of the family can participate as there are always chores and jobs to learn on a farm. It is so rewarding to work together as a family to accomplish greatness!

Housing, Benefits, & Stipend

Interns are to provide their own RV living quarters to park at Blue Ranch Farms in the RV area. There are full hookups available. Interns can eat and use produce and products from the farm as available (Vegetables, Fruits, Meats, etc). A fair monthly stipend will be paid based on the duration of the internship.

Intern Responsibilities

As was mentioned above, there is always work to be done on a farm. Farming Hours are usually daylight to dusk, and chores are everyday, 7 days a week. However, sometimes in certain cases, work at night is necessary. Trust us, it’s not by our choice… at times it is necessary.

Just as with a family, a farm is to be cared for and nurtured and that requires everyone to put the needs of the farm first. We do our best to do only the necessary chores on Sundays and take the rest of the day as a day of rest. Just as with young children, there are no guarantees to the needs and wants they may call for! Interns must be prepared to be on call for any and all needs that arise.

Farming is like having a family with young children. There are always chores and tasks to do, and young children have needs and wants that continuously need assessment, discernment, and attention. A young farm in its start up stage is more like a young family with newborn triplets. Blue Ranch Farms is in the start up stages.
